I was recently confronted by someone who asked me not to "preach" my
beliefs to them.
Because of something I forwarded.
I pondered before responding. Today I practice a Spirituality. So as I wanted to lash out like the old me; I took the time to pray and asked for guidance.
My response
"I understand.
I am not a Religious Person.
I am a Spiritual Being.
We are the minority in the world of Christians.
I used to cringe when people would quote Religious literature to me.
Through continuing my path of recovery I listen
with an open mind and find the common denominator between us.
It is the perspective that I needed to change."
Today I have a peace like never before when I stay Spiritual and non-judgmental.
