Sofia's Journey to Sobriety
Hi everyone,
My name is Sofia, and I'm on a journey to reclaim my life from alcohol. As I sit down to share my story with you, I'm filled with a mix of emotions - vulnerability, hope, and determination.
My relationship with alcohol started innocently enough, just a casual drink here and there. But as time passed, those occasional drinks turned into a habit, and before I knew it, alcohol had woven its way into the fabric of my life. At first, I convinced myself that I had control, that I was only indulging in moderation. But deep down, I knew my habits were spiraling out of control.
It took hitting rock bottom for me to finally acknowledge the grip alcohol had on me. Five months ago, I made the difficult decision to seek help and checked into a rehab facility. Those days were some of the toughest I've ever faced, but they were also the beginning of my journey to sobriety.
Today, as I stand before you, I am proud to say that I am 160 days sober. Each day has been a battle, but it's a battle I'm willing to fight because I know that on the other side lies freedom and a life worth living.
But I also know that I can't do this alone. That's why I'm here, reaching out to this community in search of a sponsor. Someone who can offer guidance, support, and a listening ear as I navigate the ups and downs of recovery.
