It's Ok to Not be Ok

People will see you how they choose to see you, and that’s ok. I was talking with someone very close to me yesterday and she was telling me that someone had started up drama about her past (again), now the person throwing stones isn’t exactly on a ‘righteous path’ because the drama usually starts when she’s blitzed, I believe some people will always see us how they ‘need’ to see us, whether they throw stones because they need to justify their anger at the world on us, or maybe they were never our friend to begin with. Our past is just that, our past, whether it’s coming from somebody who hasn’t lived our life or maybe they are struggling with their own issues right now and choose to hate on you because you were able to turn life around idk. Misery does love company. People in recovery have a target on their back, it’s hard enough to turn life around, harder when people try to bring you down, my advice was to just block her and be done with the unnecessary drama.
